Injection Grout Installation
1 open hole
1.1 old hole make it clear before use .
1.2 New hole opening: according to the installation drawings of the furnace cylinder
cooling wall to do the new hole opening position . Generally, the new hole is
opened at the vertical joint and the ring joint of the blast furnace cooling wall.
1.3 The opening diameter is φ 32mm, and the magnetic drill or air cut can be done, but the depth of the hole should reach the hot surface of the cooling wall, and the welding
slag in the hole should be cleaned and swept away, the welding short pipe (the length
should not exceed 150mm), install the ball valve.
1.4 The injection operation should follow from bottom to up. During the process, keep
the beside ball valve is open and the upper grouting hole is also open state, during the
operation , to check the injection material is full or not ,and ensure the injection
material is coming out from the other hole .

2.1 furnace shell injection grout spec
Al2O3:≥45%
Fe2O3 ≤1.5%

2.2 furnace hearth injection grout
Al2O3:≥55%
Fe2O3≤1.5%

2.3 tap hole injection grout
Al2O3+SiC≥20%
SiC+C ≥30%
