The slag remover agent is based on a compound system of fluoride, alumina and sodium oxide, combined with a low-silicon impurity control design. It is a special auxiliary material for converter and electric arc furnace steelmaking, with its core function focusing on slag regulation and steel purification, as follows:
Rapid slag formation and fluxing: Fluoride acts as an efficient fluxing component, greatly lowering the slag melting point, solving the problem of high-melting-point slag clumping, achieving rapid slag formation and pre-slagging, and shortening the pre-smelting waiting time.Optimising slag fluidity: Alumina and sodium oxide work together to adjust slag viscosity, making the slag softer and smoother, which facilitates the flotation of inclusions and prevents slag sticking and furnace lining adhesion, thus protecting the furnace lining from erosion.
Enhancing dephosphorisation and desulfurisation: The alkaline sodium oxide component increases the alkalinity of the slag, cooperating with the activation effect of fluoride to enhance the slag's ability to adsorb harmful phosphorus and sulfur impurities, improving the cleanliness of the molten steel and the quality of the steel.
Low-silicon impurity control to prevent interference: Silicon content is strictly controlled to ≤2% to avoid introducing additional silicon elements that could interfere with the composition of the molten steel, preventing excessive silicon in the steel and meeting the smelting requirements of various steel grades.
