Overview and Definition of High-Alumina Anchor Bricks for Heating Furnaces
A1,0. High-alumina refractories are refractory products with an aluminosilicate content of 45% or higher. Refractory materials made from minerals such as corundum, high-alumina bauxite, or sillimanite are collectively referred to as high-alumina refractories. High-alumina refractories have high refractoriness, strong resistance to acid and alkali slag erosion, and high high-temperature mechanical strength. Therefore, they are commonly used in the construction of blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, and various heating furnaces to improve the service life of the furnace body. Anchor bricks are bricks used for the top and walls of industrial furnaces. They are embedded in the refractory castable wall and can be used after baking at a certain temperature, enhancing the overall performance of the refractory castable. According to the molding process, they can be divided into two categories: semi-dry machine pressing molding and casting vibration molding. Most anchor bricks produced by domestic manufacturers are machine pressing molded and fired at high temperatures, resulting in high strength, good thermal shock resistance, and strong resistance to spalling.

Specifications of High-Alumina Anchor Bricks for Heating Furnaces
Determination of Chemical Items
As with all high-alumina refractory bricks, the alumina content plays a decisive role in the high-temperature properties and erosion resistance of the refractory material. According to the forming process of high-alumina refractory bricks, they can be divided into two categories: semi-dry machine pressing and casting vibration forming. Domestically, casting is generally based on low-cement castables; therefore, the CaO content needs to be less than 2.0%.
Permissible Deviations in Appearance and Dimensions of High-Alumina Anchor Bricks
Depending on the dimensions of high-alumina anchor bricks, the dimensional deviations, twisting, missing corner length, missing edge depth, crack width and length, and molten cavity diameter are as follows:

Explanation of Material Acceptance Standards:
The physical testing and acceptance items for high-alumina anchor bricks are apparent porosity, load softening start temperature, room temperature compressive strength, and room temperature tensile strength.
