Checker bricks are a type of heat-carrying and heat-storing body(heat accumulator) made of refractory materials. They achieve heat exchange by setting regular grid holes in the brick body and are mainly used in the regenerator chamber of blast furnace hot blast stove and the waste heat recovery system of glass melting furnace. Their structural features include parallel open grid holes and positioning raised grooves, and they have technical characteristics such as good volume stability and excellent high-temperature load creep performance.
