The slag stopping balls produced by our company are fit for 8-120 tone converter( mode Φ1500mm-3000mm),
slag stopping ball is for stop the slag flow into the steel ladle by stemming the tapping hole before the molten steel finish flowing into the steel ladle.
Slag stopping ball was invented by Nippon Steel Corporation in Japan in 1970,
its principle is the density of slag stopping ball is between slag and molten steel(general is 4.2-4.5 g/cm3),
stemming the tapping hole before the molten steel flow into the steel ladle finish flowing to stop the slag
