Alkali-resistant bricks for cement kilns

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terminology and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and quality certificates of alkali-resistant bricks for cement kilns.

This standard applies to alkali-resistant bricks for cement kilns.

Defined in GB/T 18930 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1

Alkali-resistant bricks for cement kiln

Silicoaluminous refractory products made mainly from low-alumina refractory clay, which have excellent alkali corrosion resistance in cement kiln systems.

4 Classification and marking

4.1 Classification

Products are classified into three grades according to their different properties: ordinary alkali-resistant bricks PNJ, high-strength alkali-resistant bricks GNJ, and heat-insulating alkali-resistant bricks GRNJ.

4.2 Marking

Product marking order: product name, variety and standard number.

Example: High-strength alkali-resistant bricks are marked as: High-strength alkali-resistant bricks GNJ JC/T 496-XXXX.

5 Technical requirements

5.1 The dimensional tolerances and appearance quality of the products shall conform to the provisions of Table 1.

Note: The dimensional tolerances and appearance quality requirements of special products shall be agreed upon by both the supplier and the demander.

5.2 The physicochemical performance indicators of the products shall conform to the provisions of Tables 2 and 3.

6 Test Methods

6.1 The inspection and sampling of alkali-resistant bricks for cement kilns shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 731.

6.2 The permissible deviations in product dimensions and the appearance quality shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 10326.

6.3 The inspection of apparent porosity shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2997.

6.4 The inspection of compressive strength at room temperature shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 5072.

6.5 The inspection of load softening temperature shall be carried out according to the provisions of YB/T 370.

6.6 The inspection of thermal shock resistance shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 30873.

6.7 The inspection of alkali resistance shall be carried out according to the provisions of JC/T 808.

6.8 Chemical composition shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 6900 and GB/T 21114. In case of arbitration, it shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 6900.

6.9 The inspection of bulk density of heat-insulating alkali-resistant bricks shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2998.

6.10 The inspection of permanent linear change after heating shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 5988.

6.11 The inspection of thermal conductivity shall be carried out according to the provisions of YB/T 4130.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection Classification

Inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection.

7.1.1 Factory Inspection

Factory inspection items include dimensional deviation, appearance quality, apparent porosity, compressive strength at room temperature, load softening temperature, bulk density, and chemical composition.

7.1.2 Type Inspection

Type inspection includes all the contents of Chapter 5. Type inspection shall be carried out under any of the following circumstances:

a) When there is a significant change in the production process or raw materials;

b) At least twice a year during normal production;

c) When resuming production after a shutdown of more than six months;

d) When the results of the factory inspection differ significantly from the results of the last type inspection.

7.2 Batching and Sampling

7.2.1 Batching

Products are batched according to the same grade, with each batch being 150t. If less than 150t, it shall be a separate batch.

7.2.2 Sampling

The sampling and acceptance of products shall be carried out according to GB/T 10325.

7.3 Acceptance Criteria

The acceptance of products shall be carried out according to GB/T 10325. Samples for destructive testing shall be taken from samples that have passed the appearance inspection. All items in Chapter 5 are assessment indicators.

8 Packaging, Marking, Transportation, Storage and Quality Certificate

8.1 The packaging, marking, transportation and storage of products shall be carried out according to GB/T 16546.

8.2 When the products are shipped, a quality certificate signed by the supplier's quality department shall be attached. The quality certificate shall state the supplier's name or factory mark, the purchaser's name, the shipping date, the contract number, the product name, the standard number, the grade, the brick number, the batch number and the corresponding physical and chemical test results.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1

Alkali-resistant bricks for cement kiln

The silica-aluminum series refractory products are made of low-aluminum refractory clay as the main raw material and have excellent alkali attack resistance in cement kiln system.

4 Categorize and label

4.1 Classification

Products are divided into ordinary alkali resistant brick PNJ, high strength alkali resistant brick GNJ, heat insulation alkali resistant brick GRNJ3 grades according to different performance.

4.2 Tags

Product marking sequence: product name, variety and standard number.

Example: The high-strength alkali-resistant brick is labeled as: high-strength alkali-resistant brick GNJJC/T 496-XXXX.

5 Technical Requirements

5.1 The permissible size deviation and appearance quality of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 1

5.2 The physical and chemical properties of the product shall comply with the provisions of Table 2 and Table 3.

6 Test methods

6.1 The inspection and sample preparation of alkali resistant bricks for cement kilns shall be carried out according to GB/T 731.

6.2 The permissible deviation of product size and appearance quality shall be carried out according to GB/T 10326.

6.3 The apparent porosity test shall be carried out according to GB/T 2997.

6.4 The test of compressive strength at room temperature shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 5072.

6.5 The test of the softening temperature under load shall be carried out according to the provisions of YB/T 370.

6.6 The test of thermal shock stability shall be carried out according to GB/T 30873.

6.7 Alkaline resistance shall be tested according to the provisions of JC/T 808.

6.8 Chemical composition according to GB/T 6900 and GB/T 21114. Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 6900.

6.9 The inspection of the bulk density of the heat insulation alkali-resistant brick shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 2998.

6.10 The inspection of the change of the heating permanent line shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 5988.

6.11 The test of thermal conductivity shall be carried out according to YB/T 4130.

7 Inspection Rules

7.1 Inspection Classification

The inspection is divided into ex-factory inspection and type inspection.

7.1.1 Factory inspection

Factory inspection items include dimensional deviation, appearance quality, apparent porosity, normal temperature compressive strength, load softening temperature, bulk density, chemical composition.

7.1.2 Type inspection

The type inspection covers the whole content of Chapter 5. Type inspection shall be carried out under any of the following circumstances:

a) When there is a major change in the production process or raw materials;

b) During normal production, at least twice a year;

c) Stop production for more than half a year and resume production;

d) When the test result is significantly different from the last type test result.

7.2 Batch and sampling

7.2.1 Batch Group

Products according to the same brand group batch, each 150t for a batch, less than 150t separate batch.

Sampling acceptance of products shall be conducted according to GB/T 10325.

7.3 Qualification Rules

Products are judged according to GB/T 10325. Samples for destructive testing shall be drawn from samples that pass the inspection. All items in Chapter 5 are assessment indicators.

8 Packing, marking, transportation, storage and quality certificate

8.1 Packaging, marking, transportation and storage of products shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 16546.

8.2 The product shall be issued with a quality certificate issued by the quality department of the supplier, which shall indicate the name of the supplier or factory mark, the name of the demander, the date of delivery, the contract number, the name of the product, the standard number, the brand number, the brick number, the lot number and the corresponding physical and chemical inspection results.
