The long-life, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly new type of coke oven door boasts superior strength, excellent thermal shock resistance, good toughness, strong resistance to chemical erosion, and a stable structure. It offers advantages such as long service life, energy saving, environmental friendliness, and convenient installation, meeting the refractory material requirements of the new environmentally friendly coke oven operating conditions.
1. Long Service Life: The precast bricks for the long-life, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly new type of coke oven door are refined from high-quality refractory composite materials with special additives. They feature good porosity, high strength, good toughness, low expansion rate, and good thermal shock resistance. During use, they generate substances that are not easily eroded by slag and tar, reducing the porosity of the material and also reducing the content of free SiO₂ that easily reacts with slag and tar. This significantly improves the resistance of the door bricks to furnace runway and tar erosion, extending the service life of the oven door.
2. Energy Saving: The long-life, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly new type of coke oven door adopts a composite structure of the latest nano-insulation materials and heavy refractory materials. It has good integrity, low overall thermal conductivity, and excellent thermal performance, effectively reducing the temperature of the oven door's outer surface, reducing energy consumption, and achieving significant energy-saving effects.
Currently, the outer surface temperature of large coke oven doors is high (180~270℃), resulting in significant heat loss and energy waste. Our company, based on the principle of composite insulation, has developed a new type of composite prefabricated oven door brick using the latest nano-insulation materials for structural optimization. This new brick exhibits a significantly improved thermal performance. Compared to traditional small brick oven doors, the outer surface temperature is reduced by 40~80℃, effectively reducing energy loss and achieving remarkable energy savings.
3. Environmental Protection: The new composite prefabricated oven door bricks result in fewer gaps in the oven door, improving the oven's sealing performance and preventing smoke, dust, and gas leaks. This eliminates environmental pollution caused by poor door sealing. The lower outer surface temperature also reduces thermal deformation of the oven door castings, minimizing gas leakage and improving the working environment on both sides of the coke oven, thus achieving environmentally friendly operation.
4. Convenience: The new composite precast furnace door bricks are directly bolted to the furnace door frame, resulting in a stable structure, convenient construction and installation, low labor intensity, and reduced labor costs. This improves the efficiency of the furnace door and reduces the frequency of minor and medium repairs, increasing the coke oven's operating rate and economic benefits.
5. Lightweight Furnace Door: Because the new precast furnace door bricks eliminate the need for cast iron brick slots, each furnace door is nearly 1 ton lighter. This weight reduction reduces mechanical load and wear, making the lifting and lowering of the furnace door trolley more stable and safer. The elimination of cast iron brick slots also greatly simplifies site management and cleaning.
